Where Can Health Coaches Work?
One of the gifts of becoming a Health Coach is that the possibilities for what you can do are infinite! Many of our graduates work with clients 1-on-1 over the phone or in a local office, or even on Skype, which means that you can see clients all over the world. Other graduates choose to work in a chiropractor’s office or with a Naturopathic doctor, or in a wellness center with other holistic practitioners. Some graduates partner with yoga studios, universities, schools, churches, synagogues, and community centers. In fact, physicians are being urged by the American Medical Association to hire Health Coaches to join their practices in order to help patients achieve their goals. The 1-on-1 care a Coach provides is exactly what the medical field has been missing. Physicians have the opportunity to help more people without burning out and patients are seeing better results with the focus on HABIT CHANGE that a Coach provides. The choice is yours. As long as you have the passion and the drive to succeed, your workplace is what you make it! To learn more about the many career paths available to Health Coaches, read this blog post.

As a Coach…
You will apply nutrition and habit change expertise and transformational coaching skills to help others master healthy habits that serve them for life.
You will empower others to become their best selves in health and in life…while becoming the best version of YOU in the process!
Most importantly, you will help revolutionize the way we do health – as a healer and leader of a new wave of healthcare.
The State of Healthcare
According to the CDC, 86% of all healthcare dollars ($2.9 trillion and growing) are spent treating chronic diseases and conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.
These lifestyle diseases are top global killers – and poor health habits are the main culprit.
1 in 3 American adults has pre-diabetes
Heart disease is responsible for 1 out of 4 deaths in the US each year
(and is the leading cause of death for both men & women)
More than 1/3 of American adults are obese
Globally, 3/4 of the population fails to meet recommended guidelines for physical activity
One thing is clear:
We need to shift the way we do health fast.
But too often, medical professionals don’t have adequate time or resources to assist patients in providing the support and accountability they need to transform their health.
That’s where YOU can hold a new place in the healthcare system – one that emphasizes holistic health, habit change, and disease prevention.
By Becoming a Coach…
You can help others reclaim their health by providing the guidance, support, expertise, and accountability that are critical to creating lasting health transformation.
